Started with a brisk sunday morning with a fair few people already there at 8am, I was excited to get the rango back out after a few weeks. And with the weather looking promising it was looking like a great days racing. Until Chris S brings out his -15 rear camber Rango WTF.. either way he lessened the obscure amount of camber, and got into the A so hey maybe he's onto something!
With the normal turn out there John Clarke, Tony rc, Chris s, Cammer's, Rob R, and the RC Lazy crew of simon and mark.
Q1: For me, it went solid coming in 2nd just behind local wizard Steve B and Rob R bringing it in 3rd. I decided to stick with Schu Yellow's but added some more camber to my norm setup. As the track was very dry.
Q2: Went perfect with only 1 silly mistake but coming in 1st with Steve B just behind followed by Mark T, I decided to decreas my steering throw from 100 to 85. Which helped with the high grip track, and I tried hard to avoid cutting more spikes off my very new tyres.
Q3: Went ok, another ok run just wasn't putting down consistent lap's and struggling with a bull cup popping off. Which seems to be a very annoying point, which I will amend for next time. Steve B Rob R then me coming in 3rd.
Q4: Was a dissaster, DNS for me as somehow had killed my pretty new Savox servo which was new in the rango! But hopefully its just the gears and not a whole new servo needed. Steve B, Mark t, Rob R
Final's
A Final 4WD
Final was mixed, I was going well for the 1st few minute's but yet again lightly clipped a pipe. And by ballcup popped off. So it was a bit of a blow, but eventually came in 3rd.

2. Rob Rasey

Overall a great day, and the track layout was brilliant was a lot more flowing-which aids in some closer racing tbh. Car was great all day, and was changing small thing's all day which I tend to avoid. But car was getting easier to drive as the day went on. After the racing, A few of us decided to stay for some fun and some testing. I got to try some DBoots MultiBytes-which were impressive to say the least. And provide some crazy forward traction. They are a tad aggressive but some small setup changes can alter that. I did some testing for Martin, with a few track changes and it was the best layout as of yet. And decided to discuss some track features and ideas. Which will work very well and cant wait till its all done. A big thanks to the Torch chaps for a great days racing and look forward to the next time-Hopefully sunday!!
